Question 1

How do I book moving bins?

Accepted Answer

Choose the package that fits your move, select your dates, and provide your delivery address and contact details. We will use your booking details to coordinate delivery.

Question 2

Every package includes reusable plastic moving bins with attached snap-lock lids, dollies based on your package, delivery, pickup, and your choice of a 7-day or 14-day rental period.

We serve Tampa Bay, including Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Brandon, and surrounding communities. Visit our Service Areas page or contact us if you are unsure whether your address is covered.

Question 4

Question 7

How big are the bins?

Accepted Answer

Our bins are 27" L x 17" W x 12" H — heavy duty, stackable, and built for moving. Each bin comes with an attached lid for easy packing and loading, so there is no need for tape or separate box tops.

Question 8

How many bins do I need?

Accepted Answer

Our packages are designed around common move sizes: 20 bins for studios or one-bedroom moves, 40 for two- to three-bedroom moves, 60 for larger homes or offices, and 80 for large home or commercial moves. You can also request a custom quote for 10 to 100 bins.

Accepted Answer

Yes. Extra bins can be added to a package, subject to availability. See current add-on pricing or contact us before delivery.

Question 10

How do the attached lids work?

Accepted Answer

Each bin has an attached snap-lock lid that closes securely, so you do not need tape or separate box tops.

Question 11

What are the QR labels for?

Accepted Answer

Every bin has a QR label that can be scanned with a phone to help you log and keep track of its contents while packing and unpacking.

Question 12

What should I pack in the bins?

Accepted Answer

Use bins for household and office items that fit comfortably inside. Keep each bin manageable to lift and avoid overfilling or forcing the lid closed.

Question 13

Can I use the bins outdoors or in the rain?

Accepted Answer

The bins are durable plastic and designed for moving, but please keep them secure and protected from unnecessary exposure or conditions that could cause damage.

Question 14

How long can I keep the bins?

Accepted Answer

You can choose a 7-day or 14-day rental when you book. If you need even more time, contact us before your scheduled pickup to arrange a day-by-day extension at $10 per additional day.

Question 15

Can I extend my rental?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you need time beyond your chosen rental period (7 or 14 days), extensions are available for $10 per additional day. Contact us as soon as you know you need extra time.

Question 16

What should I do before pickup?

Accepted Answer

Please empty all bins, stack them inside each other, and have the bins and dollies accessible at the agreed pickup location.

Question 17

What if my move date changes?

Accepted Answer

Contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to adjust delivery or pickup based on availability.

Question 18

Is there a fee if my bins aren't ready at pickup?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If our driver arrives for your scheduled pickup and the bins are not emptied, accessible, and ready to load, a $50 failed pickup fee will be charged. To avoid this, please have all bins emptied and stacked inside each other, with all equipment staged at the agreed pickup location before your scheduled time. We always send a reminder before your pickup day, so you will have plenty of notice to get everything ready.

Question 19

What happens if a bin is damaged or missing?

Accepted Answer

Our bins are built for moving, and normal wear, minor scuffs, scratches, and dirt are expected and will not result in a charge. Customers are responsible for bins or equipment that are broken, severely damaged, or missing at pickup.

Question 20

What are the replacement fees?

Accepted Answer

Replacement fees are $25 per bin and $75 per dolly. These fees apply to any bin or dolly that is missing or damaged beyond normal wear and tear.

Question 21

How are bins and dollies inspected?

Accepted Answer

All bins and equipment are inspected at pickup. By renting from Tampa Bin Co., you agree to these terms and accept responsibility for any applicable replacement fees.

Question 22

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery date for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of delivery are eligible for a 50% refund. Once your bins have been delivered, the rental is non-refundable.

Question 23

How do I cancel my reservation?

Accepted Answer

Contact us by phone or email with your booking reference as soon as you know you need to cancel. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method.
